I didn’t found a lot of things about this particular work of Jacobsen, and unfortunately I don’t remember what we talked about it when we visited it! I was fascinated by the geometry, the work of perspective, and the texture of the bricks, trying to catch all of them in photo. One of the things that I remember was the peace and quiet of the place. From all the pictures I made, the first one here is probably the most representative of what I thought and felt there; games of volumes and perspective, this abstract wall hiding the horizon, and the drying rack, waiting endlessly for someone to pick the clothes. Quiet. Peace.
